The BMW R 1250 R/RS is powered by a 1254 cc ShiftCam boxer engine, producing around 136 hp and meeting Euro 5 standards. The R is a roadster, whilst the RS is a sports tourer. Semi-active ESA suspension is available, and the bike features a shaft drive.
