The BMW X5 M (F95) and X6 M (F96) are the high-performance SUVs from BMW M introduced in 2019, powered by the 600 hp S63 4.4 twin-turbo V8, rising to 625 hp in the Competition version. Unlike the previous generation, the standard exhaust system includes a petrol particulate filter (OPF).

For this generation Capristo offers two solutions in hand-polished 309 stainless steel. The first includes 200-cell sport catalysts that replace the particulate filter, an unsilenced centre section and a valved rear silencer: back-pressure drops and the V8 gains a fuller voice, with no need to modify the engine ECU. The second is a cat-back system limited to the rear silencer with electrically controlled valves, ECE approved.

In both cases the valves are still managed by the car's standard system, so the original drive modes and controls keep working. The systems are made in Germany with induction-bent tubes and hand welding, and replace the original exhaust using the installation kit supplied.
