Kawasaki brings back the KLE name with the new KLE 500, a lightweight adventure bike powered by the 451 cc twin from the Ninja 500 family, with 21 and 17 inch spoked wheels and a 43 mm KYB upside-down fork that has no adjustment as standard.

The kit replaces the original cartridges without touching the outer fork tubes. The enlarged piston and Rally Race-specific valving absorb repeated high-speed hits without losing their setting, with independent adjustment of hydraulic compression, hydraulic rebound and spring preload, all accessible from the top cap of the cartridge. For the KLE 500 there is also a high version of the kit, 30 mm taller.
