The Audi R8 V8 4.2, the version with the smaller-capacity naturally aspirated engine, finds in Capristo an X-Pipe system in hand-polished 309 stainless steel with a tailpipe fitted with pneumatically controlled valves. A system designed to give this R8 variant too a sound character worthy of its design.
For the Audi R8 – V8 4.2, Capristo's catalogue includes: Impianto completo cat-back, Terminali/silenziatori posteriori.
Hand-polished 309 stainless steel is not just an aesthetic choice: it resists corrosion and high temperatures, ensuring long-lasting durability. Every Capristo system starts from a laser scan of the original car (reverse engineering), guaranteeing a perfect fit without altering the original exhaust back-pressure.
Fitting a Capristo sport exhaust brings concrete benefits: a sportier sound, reduced weight compared to the standard system, and superior Made-in-Germany craftsmanship. Systems approved for road use carry a specific note on their product page.
Production and delivery times vary depending on the chosen configuration: contact us before ordering for real availability and lead times.
