The BMW R 1200 RT is the ultimate tourer, capable of devouring kilometres in safety and comfort. But when the weight of the bike and luggage increases, the original discs suffer from heat buildup during long mountain descents. Brembo Serie Oro brake discs transform your braking into an even more reliable and modular tool, maintaining consistent performance even in the most demanding conditions.
The Brembo Serie Oro kit for the R 1200 RT includes: 68B407D7 front disc at 320mm with 5mm thickness and 68B407C0 rear disc at 265mm with 5mm thickness. Both elements were specifically developed for this generation of tourer, guaranteeing total compatibility with the original braking system without any modifications.
Serie Oro technology offers concrete advantages: the lightweight aluminium bell reduces unsprung weight, improving on-road comfort and suspension response. The strategic drilling of the disc promotes heat evacuation and residual gas escape, maintaining constant operating temperature even during repeated braking. The pad attachment is refined to guarantee natural and predictable brake progressivity.
Complete TÜV certification and modification-free installation: Brembo Serie Oro discs are TÜV and ABE certified for European road use. The replacement is drop-in type: remove the original discs and install these new ones without requiring overhauls, adaptations or modifications to the brake geometry. Your BMW R 1200 RT maintains full regulatory compliance.
