The Moto Guzzi California EV Special 1100 embodies the essence of the European cruiser, a motorcycle that has captivated generations of riders for its distinctive character and the generous power of its transverse twin-cylinder engine. With considerable weight and impressive performance, proper brake system management becomes crucial to maintain progressive and safe braking in every riding condition, from highway touring to city maneuvers.
The Brembo Serie Oro brake discs 78B40870 (front 320mm) and 68B407G4 (rear 282mm) replace the originals directly, guaranteeing drop-in installation without modifications to the frame or brackets. Both axles feature drilled discs and aluminium bell, reducing unsprung weight and improving suspension dynamic response. The 5mm thickness ensures optimal heat dissipation during sustained braking and long descents.
Peripheral drilling effectively evacuates heat and gases generated during intense braking, preventing thermal fade and maintaining consistent pad bite. The lightweight aluminium bell reduces rotational inertia, improving braking modulation precision and overall motorcycle control—a fundamental element on a vehicle of this displacement and weight. Superior pad engagement ensures progressive braking superior to original discs.
TÜV/ABE type approval certifies these discs meet all European road safety standards. This is regulation-compliant replacement requiring no inspection or additional certifications: installation is completely legal and reversible. No mechanical modifications required, maximum compatibility with original Guzzi components and supplied pads.
2-year warranty, 100% Made in Italy: Brembo is synonymous with braking excellence, and these discs incorporate decades of motorcycle industry expertise. Purchase your Brembo Serie Oro discs for the California EV Special 1100 on M4Tuning.com and transform your Guzzi's braking.
