The Suzuki Bandit 1200 represents one of the most appreciated naked bikes of its era, renowned for its balance between brutal power and road handling. However, after years of intensive use, original brake discs begin to lose effectiveness, compromising safety during demanding braking. Replacing them with Brembo Serie Oro discs means restoring new-bike performance, with even higher safety margins than the original.
The front kit 78B408A0 offers 310mm discs with 5mm thickness, ideal for managing the Bandit's substantial mass during deceleration from sustained speeds. The rear kit 68B40771 with 240mm diameter and same thickness completes the braking system with perfect balance between progressivity and stopping power. Both Brembo codes guarantee absolute compatibility with the motorcycle's original mounts.
Brembo Serie Oro discs exploit the aluminium bell, which significantly reduces unsprung weight on the axle, improving the motorcycle's overall dynamics in both acceleration and braking. Peripheral drilling ensures rapid heat and friction gas evacuation, eliminating air bubble formation in the hydraulic circuit during consecutive braking. This system allows more aggressive pad calibration, with better tactile response and faster return to neutral position.
Both kits are TÜV approved for road use throughout Europe and represent a direct replacement of the OEM system without need for technical inspections or constructive modifications. Installation is drop-in: no adaptation, no complications, just superior performance. Brembo guarantees these discs for 2 years, with 100% Made in Italy production according to the industry's most rigorous quality standards.
