Construction features:
Steel tension spring: heat-treated to keep tension stable between the filter element and the canister.
Bypass valve: keeps oil flowing and the engine lubricated even if the filter becomes clogged.
Spiral perforating tube: high structural strength: prevents the filter element from collapsing and improves oil flow.
Filtration media: optimised filtration media for maximum filtering efficiency and lifetime.
Anti drain-back seal: prevents oil from draining back into the crankcase when the engine is off.
In-bond seam: double-lock seam between plate and canister, increasing burst strength.
Square seal gasket: perfect seal across multiple applications and prevents the gasket from slipping.
In independent comparative tests, Ison achieved the best performance in its category: burst strength of 33 kg/cm² (against a minimum standard of 17 kg/cm²), drain-back of just 71 ml (100 ml maximum standard) and full-saturation filter efficiency of 92.35%, outperforming all the main competitors tested in the same JIS-standard test cycle.
