The Audi R8 V8 4.2 is the entry version of the first generation: a 420 hp naturally aspirated V8 mounted mid-ship, which stayed in the range until 2015, including after the late-2012 facelift.

For this version Capristo offers the cat-back system with a rear silencer fitted with pneumatic valves and a programmable CES-3 control unit to manage them, supplied with the silencer for the pre-facelift R8 V8 4.2, and a silencer for the facelift V8 4.2. Both are made of 309 stainless steel, built in Germany and covered by Capristo's 3-year warranty.
