Buell was one of the most original and courageous projects in American motorcycling. Erik Buell founded the brand in 1983 to build genuine American sport bikes. The XB12 is the mature expression of that vision: aluminium perimeter frame also used as the fuel tank, Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 engine as a stressed member, perimeter front brake and aggressive geometry.
The kit installs in place of the original cartridges, without touching the outer fork tubes. The 20mm piston with enlarged oil passages transforms the hydraulic response and makes three independent adjustments available: hydraulic compression, hydraulic rebound and spring preload. All are accessible from the top cap of the cartridge, without dismantling the fork. The result is a front end that is more stable under braking, more precise in corners and easier to adapt to rider weight, load and riding style.
