Cagiva is a fascinating chapter in Italian motorcycling history. Founded in Varese in 1978 by the Castiglioni family, it acquired historic brands such as Ducati, Husqvarna and MV Agusta, raced in MotoGP with the legendary C594 and built motorcycles with a distinctly European character. The Raptor 1000, powered by the Suzuki TL1000 V-twin in a Miguel Galluzzi chassis, remains one of its icons.
The kit installs in place of the original cartridges, without touching the outer fork tubes. The 20mm piston with enlarged oil passages transforms the hydraulic response and makes three independent adjustments available: hydraulic compression, hydraulic rebound and spring preload. All are accessible from the top cap of the cartridge, without dismantling the fork. The result is a front end that is more stable under braking, more precise in corners and easier to adapt to rider weight, load and riding style.
