Armytrix Car Exhausts for Volkswagen Tiguan R 2.0 TSI 4Motion (2020-)

Introduced in 2020, the Tiguan R was the first Tiguan to wear the R badge: a 320 PS, 420 Nm EA888 evo4 2.0 TSI, seven-speed DSG and 4Motion with R-Performance Torque Vectoring, which replaces the Haldex coupling with a twin-clutch rear differential able to meter torque between the rear wheels.

For the Volkswagen Tiguan R 2.0 TSI 4Motion (2020-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.

Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
