Pontiac closed in 2010, but among American car enthusiasts the brand is still alive, above all for its rear-wheel-drive performance cars. Three of them have a Brembo GT kit.
The last-generation Firebird (1998-2002), twin of the Camaro, and the GTO (2004-2006), derived from the Australian Holden Monaro, have a front axle kit. The G8 (2008-2009), sister of the Holden Commodore, has front and rear kits and is the only Pontiac also available in GT-R form.
On cars that are twenty years old or more, the stock brakes often need redoing anyway: a Brembo GT kit with aluminium 4, 6 or 8 piston calipers and larger drilled floating discs gives them braking that matches their performance. The G8's GT-R has monobloc calipers machined from billet, for owners who take it on track.
