The Bimota V-Due 500 represents a masterpiece of Italian engineering, a revolutionary two-stroke that marked an era for its unpredictability and wild character in the saddle. After years of intensive use, the original brake discs progressively lose their thermal dissipation capacity, compromising safety during demanding braking. The Brembo Serie Oro brake discs restore the bite and reliability this extraordinary V-Due deserves.
The Brembo front kit 78B40870 is specifically developed for the V-Due 500 and consists of a 320mm diameter disc with a thickness of 5mm. This disc mounts directly onto the front caliper of the bike without adapters or mechanical modifications, guaranteeing a clean, professional installation in just minutes.
The aluminium bell technology significantly reduces the unsprung weight of the front wheel, improving the bike's responsiveness in direction changes and cornering braking. The peripheral drilled pattern of the disc allows better heat and friction gas evacuation, preventing thermal fade during repeated braking. The wear profile has been optimized to ensure more progressive and controllable pad bite.
The disc 78B40870 is TÜV approved for the European market and represents a direct replacement of the original element. It requires no caliper overhaul, no modifications to the braking system, and installation is drop-in. The 24-month warranty covers the product against manufacturing defects, while 100% Italian origin guarantees the construction quality typical of Brembo.
