The Ducati Monster 600 is the minimalist masterpiece that redefined the naked bike concept, offering a perfect blend of performance and simplicity. After years of intense city use and weekend rides on winding roads, the original discs begin to show signs of wear, with less progressive braking and reduced feedback at the handlebars. Brembo Serie Oro represents the natural upgrade for those who won't compromise on safety.
The front kit 78B40870 features 320mm discs with 5mm thickness, paired with the rear kit 68B40791 at 245mm with 4mm thickness. Both discs are characterized by the forged aluminium bell, which reduces unsprung weight improving bike dynamics, and by the drilled surface that facilitates heat evacuation during repeated braking and residual gases between disc and pad.
Brembo's construction quality guarantees better pad grip on the braking surface, with constant progression from the first to maximum brake pressure. The drilling on Serie Oro discs is not purely aesthetic: it enables superior heat dissipation and a more linear response, fundamental characteristics for a Monster 600 tackling demanding roads.
These discs are TÜV and ABE type approved for road use throughout Europe, allowing direct replacement of OEM original discs without any mechanical modification. Installation is drop-in: no servicing, no adaptation, only certified and guaranteed performance. 100% Made in Italy products with the manufacturing rigor that distinguishes the Lombard brand.
