The Yamaha YZF R1 15/16 is a Yamaha road model with a 1000cc displacement, built between 2015 and 2016.
On this page you'll find sport exhausts for the Yamaha YZF R1 15/16 from Akrapovič, Leovince, Termignoni, GPR, Mivv, Exan, Yoshimura, Arrow and Hp Corse.
A sport exhaust replaces the stock silencer with a lighter component, often in stainless steel, titanium or carbon fibre, reducing the bike's weight and freeing up the engine's power delivery compared to the original system.
Akrapovič, founded in Slovenia in 1990, makes high-end exhaust systems with its own titanium foundry and has passed 100 world titles across motorcycle and car racing. Leovince was founded in Turin in 1987 and makes exhausts for road bikes, off-road bikes and scooters in stainless steel, titanium and carbon fibre, with more than 22 world titles won in racing. Termignoni, founded in 1968 in Predosa, in the province of Alessandria, makes silencers, headers and full systems used in MotoGP and Superbike. GPR is based in Cerro al Lambro, near Milan, and makes its titanium and stainless steel silencers and headers in-house; it races in MotoGP, Moto3 and the World Supersport Championship. Mivv, founded in Teramo in 1970, has made motorcycle exhausts since 1990 and won the 2006 MotoGP World Championship with Nicky Hayden. Exan, founded in 1996 and now based in Lissone, makes silencers for sports bikes, naked bikes, supermotards and classics. Yoshimura, founded in Japan in 1954 by Hideo "Pops" Yoshimura, makes racing exhausts used in the Japanese and American Superbike championships. Arrow, founded in 1985 by Giorgio Giannelli, builds its exhausts in stainless steel, titanium and carbon in San Giustino, Umbria, backed by more than 40 world and national titles. Hp Corse, founded in Bologna in 1993, makes hand-crafted exhausts with an unmistakable design, such as the Hydroform, Evoxtreme and Hydrotre.
