Girodisc GP35-4005.16
Race brake pads - GP35 compound
Girodisc, the American company known for its two-piece floating rotors, also develops its own GP series pads, designed to work at their best with Girodisc iron rotors as well as with factory rotors.
The GP35 compound is a race compound for intensive track days and racing, with a good balance of bite, modulation and wear. The pads can also be used on the original rotors; with a race compound, however, the OE rotor wears faster, which is why track users usually pair them with Girodisc rotors.
Part number: GP35-4005.16
Shape: 4005
Package contents: Pad set for one axle
Generic photo of the Girodisc box: the actual pad shape is 4005.
Pair them with Girodisc brake rotors. To reduce heat to the caliper and brake fluid you can add the Girodisc TS-4005-4 titanium pad shields, cut to the same shape.
Availability: usually in stock and ready to ship.
Compatibility:
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible Z51 6.2 (C8)
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 6.2 (C8)
