Race brake pads - GP40 compound
Girodisc, the American company known for its two-piece floating rotors, also develops its own GP series pads, designed to work at their best with Girodisc iron rotors as well as with factory rotors.
The GP40 compound is the sprint version: very high bite for short races and fast laps. The pads can also be used on the original rotors; with a race compound, however, the OE rotor wears faster, which is why track users usually pair them with Girodisc rotors.
