Pair of replacement rings for front brake rotors
Girodisc is an American company founded in 2003 in California and based since 2007 in Bellingham, Washington, where it designs and builds two-piece floating brake rotors for sports cars, supercars and track cars. The iron castings for the friction rings are poured in the USA and every part is machined and inspected in the Girodisc factory.
This item is the cast iron replacement ring (also called rotor ring or friction ring) for Girodisc A1-098 rotors: it fits onto the Girodisc hat already on the car and comes with new drive pins and assembly instructions. It is not compatible with hats from other brands or with factory two-piece rotors.
If you run Girodisc rotors on track days you do not need to buy complete rotors again: when the ring reaches its minimum thickness, often after more than one season depending on use, you replace only this pair of rings and keep the hats already fitted.
