Titanium heat shields for brake pads

Girodisc titanium pad shields are thin titanium plates fitted between the brake pad and the caliper pistons. Titanium conducts very little heat, so less heat reaches the pistons, seals and brake fluid, reducing the risk of fluid boiling and a long pedal during extended track sessions.
