Pagid Racing is the racing brand of the German TMD Friction group based in Essen: for more than 30 years it has developed brake pads, discs and brake fluid for motorsport, with compounds engineered in Germany and tested on circuits all over the world.
The RST family is developed for rally, sprint and stock car racing: instant pedal response, progressive behaviour, a consistently firm pedal at all temperatures, fade resistance even with very hot discs and good cold friction. Because of the pad colour many people simply call them "Pagid red".
The RST 4 has a medium friction level and copes very well with heat over long cycles. It is used on the rear axle of front-wheel-drive cars and in long oval races, where more aggressive compounds would upset the set-up; also ideal for low-downforce cars and gravel rallying.
