The S1 8X is a small Audi with a sports car's heart: the body of the A1, as a three-door or five-door Sportback, with the 2.0 TFSI, quattro drive and a manual gearbox only. Compact and short in wheelbase, it is one of the few all-wheel-drive superminis built for driving fun.
For the Audi S1 (8X) 2.0 TFSI Hatchback/Sportback (2015-) you will find a cat-back system by Armytrix, with Valvetronic silencers with remotely controlled valves. It has twin outlets of 89 mm with chrome, blue and black tips. On request: decat downpipes with catalyst emulator, also ceramic coated and downpipes with a 200-cell sports catalyst.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Parts without a catalyst are not road approved and are for track use only.
