The first-generation R8 was launched in 2007 with the naturally aspirated 4.2 FSI V8 mounted behind the cabin, quattro drive and either the open-gate manual or the R tronic automated gearbox. Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port.
