The R56 is the second Mini of the BMW era: the Cooper S uses the 1.6 turbo developed jointly with PSA, which rose to 184 PS with the 2010 update. The three-door was joined by the R57 Convertible, the R58 Coupé and the R59 Roadster, the last two with just two seats.
For the Mini Cooper S (R56/R57/R58/R59) 1.6 Turbo (2010-2014), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, matte black and blue coated. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
