The F56 three-door and F57 Convertible of this phase, already updated in 2018 with Union Jack tail lights, are the versions with a particulate filter on the petrol engines. At the top of the range, alongside the John Cooper Works, came the 2020 GP3: limited to 3,000 cars, two seats only and the 2.0 turbo raised to 306 PS.
For the Mini Cooper S/JCW/GP3 (F56/F57) 2.0 Turbo 3-door/Cabrio (2019-2024), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in blue coated, matte black, gold, carbon and chrome silver. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
