Armytrix Car Exhausts for Honda Civic Type R (FL5) 2.0 Turbo (2022-)

The FL5 Civic Type R is based on the eleventh-generation Civic, with cleaner lines and less aero add-ons than the FK8, but with a further developed K20C1 2.0 turbo rated at 329 PS in Europe. Still front-wheel drive and offered only with a six-speed manual, in 2023 it brought the front-wheel-drive Nordschleife record back to Honda.

For the Honda Civic Type R (FL5) 2.0 Turbo (2022-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.

Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
