With the C8, the Corvette moved its engine behind the cabin for the first time: the naturally aspirated 6.2 LT2 V8, with dry-sump lubrication, works with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and produces 482 PS in European trim. It is offered as a coupé with a removable roof panel and as a Convertible with a power-folding hard top.
For the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8) Coupé/Convertible (2020-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
