The S550-series Mustang GT Convertible takes the naturally aspirated 5.0 Coyote V8 into the open air: power-operated fabric roof, four seats and rear-wheel drive. In early European versions the V8 produced 421 PS and worked with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
For the Ford Mustang GT (S550) 5.0 V8 Convertible (2015-2017), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and catalyst replacement pipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
