For many, this is the real Mustang: the sixth-generation GT with the naturally aspirated 5.0 Coyote V8, rear-wheel drive and a choice of manual or automatic gearbox. From 2015 the V8 sits in a chassis with independent rear suspension, which makes the S550 far more composed in corners than earlier generations.
For the Ford Mustang GT (S550) 5.0 V8 Coupé (2015-2017), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and catalyst replacement pipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
