The California is the first road-going Ferrari with a front-mounted V8: a direct-injection 4.3, folding metal hard top, two-plus-two seating and the first seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox on a production Ferrari. A touring GT that turns into an open car in a few seconds.
For the Ferrari California 4.3 V8 (2008-2013), Armytrix offers the titanium version of the Valvetronic cat-back and catalyst replacement pipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
