The Kawasaki GTR 1000 is a sport-tourer that dominated the '90s and 2000s, combining pure speed with comfort for long journeys. After thousands of kilometres, original discs inevitably show wear: less progressive braking, overheating on descents and reduced confidence in corners. Brembo Serie Oro Brake Discs represent the ultimate upgrade to restore the precision and stopping power your GTR deserves.
The Brembo 78B40841 front kit features 300mm diameter discs with 5mm thickness, developed specifically for GTR 1000 requirements. The forged aluminium bell reduces unsprung weight, improving steering response and overall bike handling. Strategic drilled design enables superior heat and friction gas evacuation, maintaining optimal operating temperatures even during repeated and prolonged braking.
Brembo Serie Oro guarantees more stable and predictable pad engagement, eliminating thermal fade typical of worn discs. Made in Italy construction quality ensures micrometric precision and tight tolerances, critical factors for linear braking without vibration. Every disc undergoes balancing checks and truing before leaving the factory.
The kit is TÜV and ABE approved, compliant with European road standards: it installs as a direct replacement without requiring adaptations, technical inspections or structural modifications. Mounting is drop-in, fully reversible and requiring no brake system interventions. Your GTR 1000 will brake like new, with enhanced safety margins.
