The Versys 1000 is Kawasaki's sport tourer that combines agility and stability over long distances. With its significant weight and refined chassis geometry, the original braking performance requires a significant upgrade over time to maintain cornering confidence and consistent braking progression, especially under intensive use or on mountain roads.
The Brembo Serie Oro brake discs for Versys 1000 (2012-2014) include the front kit 78B40840 with 300mm diameter and 5mm thickness, and the rear kit 68B40747 with 240mm diameter and 4.5mm thickness. Both items guarantee direct replacement without mechanical modifications or removal of additional components.
The lightweight aluminium bell reduces unsprung weight improving the bike's dynamic behaviour, while the peripheral drilling promotes heat and gas evacuation during prolonged braking. The specific profile ensures better pad engagement and superior braking progression compared to original discs, with power distributed linearly across the entire operating range.
Both discs are TÜV approved for European road use and require no additional inspections or certifications: installation is completely drop-in on the Versys 1000. 100% Italian-made products, covered by a 2-year warranty from purchase date against manufacturing defects.
