The Kawasaki KX 250 represents the reference point in 250cc motocross, a bike designed for riders seeking high performance on track and challenging terrain. The original braking system, although reliable, can become a limitation when increasing training intensity or participating in competitive races where every tenth of a second counts.
Brembo Serie Oro brake discs for the KX 250 03-05 include the front kit 78B40810 (250mm, 3mm thickness) and rear kit 68B40782 (240mm, 4mm thickness), specifically calibrated for the needs of this motocross. The lightweight aluminium bell significantly reduces unsprung weight, improving suspension responsiveness and recovery after braking in corners, a fundamental characteristic in motocross where speed and control must be perfectly balanced.
The strategic drilling of Brembo discs ensures optimal heat and friction gas evacuation, maintaining constant braking performance even during prolonged sessions on sandy or muddy terrain. The improved pad attachment ensures more uniform contact, reducing fade risk and offering superior modulation in progressive braking typical of motocross.
These discs are TÜV type approved for road and track use, allowing direct replacement without requiring overhaul of your original braking system. Drop-in mounting guarantees quick and precise installation, with no modifications to calipers or anchor systems on your KX 250. 100% Made in Italy production ensures build quality and reliability, with a 2-year warranty on all components.
