With the 718 generation, from 2016 the Boxster moved from naturally aspirated six-cylinder engines to turbocharged flat-fours, its name recalling the four-cylinder Porsche 718 racing cars. The mid-engined roadster keeps its familiar balance, with the S using a larger-displacement unit.
For the Porsche 718 Boxster/Boxster S (2016-) you will find a cat-back system by Armytrix, with an X-pipe and Valvetronic silencers with remotely controlled valves. It has twin outlets of 89 mm with chrome and black tips.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port.
