The second generation of the coupé born from the Toyota-Subaru partnership, the GR86 ZN8 sticks to the original formula: front engine, rear-wheel drive, 2+2 seating and a naturally aspirated boxer, now enlarged to 2.4 litres (FA24D) and 234 PS. Subaru builds it at its Gunma plant, alongside its BRZ twin.
For the Toyota GR86 (ZN8) 2.4 (2022-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and the headers. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
