The GR Corolla is one of the few all-wheel-drive compacts still offered with a manual gearbox: wider tracks, flared arches and a 1.6 turbo three-cylinder derived from the GR Yaris unit. For model year 2025 Toyota added the eight-speed GR-DAT automatic as an option, raised torque and made the limited-slip differentials standard.
For the Toyota GR Corolla 1.6 Turbo VARIS Titanium Edition (2023-), Armytrix offers the titanium version of the Valvetronic cat-back and downpipes. Tips are available in titanium, blue titanium and matte black titanium. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
