In the C7 generation the S6 swapped the naturally aspirated V10 for a 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8, more compact and less thirsty thanks to cylinder on demand, which shuts down four cylinders under light load. As an Avant with quattro drive and the seven-speed S tronic, it is the fast estate one step below the RS6, with the discreet look of a sporty A6.
For the Audi S6 (C7) 4.0 TFSI V8 Avant (2012-2018), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
