In its third generation the TTS started out with 310 PS from the EA888 2.0 TFSI with dual injection, direct and port, plus quattro drive and magnetic ride suspension. A coupé with tauter, more angular lines than the 8J, it sits between the 2.0 TFSI TTs and the five-cylinder TT RS, and remained in production until 2023.
For the Audi TTS (8S) 2.0 TFSI quattro Coupé Non-OPF (2015-2023), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
