The C8 RS7 Sportback, unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, shares its mechanicals with the RS6 Avant: a 600 PS 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 with 48-volt mild hybrid, quattro drive and the eight-speed tiptronic. Its lines are those of the large five-door coupé, with flared arches and a dedicated front end that clearly set it apart from the A7.
For the Audi RS7 (C8) 4.0 TFSI V8 Sportback (2019-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in oval carbon fibre. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
