The 8S TT RS made its debut in 2016 with a completely new 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder: aluminium crankcase, 26 kg less weight and 400 PS, the same engine later adopted by the RS3. Coupé or Roadster, with quattro drive and the seven-speed S tronic, it carries on the tradition of turbocharged five-cylinders that Audi made famous in 1980s rallying.
For the Audi TT RS (8S) 2.5 TFSI Coupé/Roadster (2017-2023), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver and matte black. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
