Revealed in 2017, the third-generation Cayenne sits on the Volkswagen Group's MLB Evo platform and is lighter than its predecessor thanks to extensive use of aluminium. The base version has a 340 PS 3.0 turbo V6 with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed Tiptronic; this category is for cars with a petrol particulate filter, SUV or Coupé, the latter added in 2019.
For the Porsche Cayenne (E3) 3.0 V6 SUV/Coupé OPF (2018-2023), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated and matte black. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
