The mechanicals are those of the coupé launched in 2016: turbocharged flat-four engines, a 2.0 in the base car and a 2.5 in the S and GTS, mounted amidships behind the two seats for a low centre of gravity and good weight balance.
For the Porsche 718 Cayman (982) Cayman/S/GTS 2.0T/2.5T GT4 RS Conversion (2016-2025), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
