With the 991.2 series, unveiled at the end of 2015, the 911 Turbo rose to 540 PS and the Turbo S to 580 PS, still using the 3.8 twin-turbo flat-six, all-wheel drive, PDK and rear-axle steering. They also gained the drive mode switch on the steering wheel and the Sport Response button, which primes engine and gearbox for an overtake.
For the Porsche 911 Turbo (991.2) Turbo/Turbo S 3.8 (2016-2019), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue titanium and matte black.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
