In 2019 the 718 Spyder brought a naturally aspirated six back to the mid-engined roadster: a 420 PS 4.0 flat-six revving to 8,000 rpm, shared with the Cayman GT4 along with its chassis and brakes. At launch it came only with a six-speed manual gearbox, with PDK added later.
For the Porsche 718 Spyder (982) 4.0 (2019-2023), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers, catalyst replacement pipes and the headers. Tips are available in chrome silver, matte black, carbon and blue coated. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
