The second generation of the mid-engined coupé, the 981 Cayman arrived at the end of 2012 with sharper lines and the technical basis of the 981 Boxster, but with an even stiffer closed body. The range runs from the 275 PS 2.7 to the 3.4 of the S with 325 PS and the GTS with 340 PS, up to the 2015 GT4 with a 385 PS 3.8 and front axle taken from the 911 GT3.
For the Porsche Cayman (981) Cayman/S/GTS/GT4 2.7/3.4/3.8 (2012-2016), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and the headers. Tips are available in chrome silver, matte black and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
