From 2019 the C118 CLA uses the MFA2 platform of the W177 A-Class and inherits its dashboard with twin side-by-side screens, under a four-door coupé body that is sleeker than the first series. The CLA180 and CLA200 use the M282 1.33 turbo shared with the A-Class; this page covers the versions fitted with a petrol particulate filter (OPF).

Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
