The E43 4MATIC was the first AMG of the W213 E-Class: launched in 2016, it uses the M276 3.0 twin-turbo V6 raised to 401 hp, with rear-biased all-wheel drive and a nine-speed gearbox. The E400 4MATIC shares the same V6 with 333 hp; this page covers the versions without a petrol particulate filter.
For the Mercedes-AMG E43/E400 (W213) Non-OPF Sedan/Coupé/Estate (2016-2018), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
