Launched in 2012, the W176 transformed the A-Class: out went the sandwich-floor MPV, in came a low front-wheel-drive hatchback aimed squarely at the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series. The A180 and A200 use the M270 1.6 turbo and the A250 the 2.0 turbo from the same family, here in the two-wheel-drive versions of the first series.
For the Mercedes-Benz A180/A200/A250 2WD (W176) (2012-2015), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated and matte black. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
