The A45 AMG brought Affalterbach into the compact class: a 2.0 turbo four cylinder developed by AMG, 4MATIC all-wheel drive and the body of the W176 A-Class, for a hatchback with the performance of a proper sports car.
For the Mercedes-AMG A45 (W176) (2013-2019), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
