In the W205 C-Class, the M276 3.0 twin-turbo V6 fills the gap between the four-cylinder models and the C63. The AMG version arrived in 2015 as the C450 AMG 4MATIC and became the C43 in 2016, with 367 hp and then 390 hp after the facelift, always with rear-biased all-wheel drive; the C400 4MATIC uses the same V6 in a milder tune.
For the Mercedes-AMG C43/C400/C450 (W205) Sedan/Coupé/Estate (2015-2022), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
